Remains of the Leamington to Rugby line
12th January 2008 to 2nd May 2009

A collection of photos taken during a number of trips into Warwickshire to seek out the disused LNWR line between Leamington Spa and Rugby. A number of railway bridges exist in Leamington where the line ran alongside the GWR line ; Offchurch Viaduct took the line over the Grand Union Canal ; views exist from a wonderful steel bridge overlooking Marton Junction, where a branch line to Weedon diverged ; Birdingbury station is now a private residence and remains of the platforms still exist
[Photos of the Weedon branch towards Long Itchington are now in a separate collection]
